Crown Tiara Hair Band Silver Plated

The crown tiara is a perfect base for making tiaras or fascinators for those who want a tiara to sit on the top of the head instead of sliding down behind the ears. The classic Alice in wonderland band shape are flexible enough to fit comfortably on almost any head but this crown can be used either way. The size of these bands is suitable for adults but maybe too big for children. We have a smaller headband more suited for children. Please see our small plain headband. Both sizes of band are available in silver-plated or gold-plated finishes. Each band had a hole at both ends of the curcular band for either tying off or connecting to make a fixed circle base. There is nothing stopping you from overlapping the ends and wring them together to make a smaller base. These bands have no pattern on the outside or inside of the band. Made from sprung steel they aren't plated but are a polished shiney grey colour. They measure approx. 14cm in diameter but this is adjustable. the metal band is 3mm in depth and 1.5mm in width. The classic way to dress these bands is to wrap the band with ribbon or you may prefer to go a little more elaborate and use wire and beads.
