6′ x 8′ Oilskin Tarp (Second)

This is it. The world-famous Tentsmith’s tarp. Shelter anywhere, everywhere under your own lovely oilskin tarp. Constructed of the same fabric as our Watchcoats, the oil/wax finished long staple cotton makes a wonderful tarp for a great early feel. The dark tan/brown fabric is 6.25 oz. per square yard. All tarps are finished with loops on all four sides and on the seam. The Tarp is 6′ x 8′, has one seam, and is finished with a center loop. All the loops are heavy duty as they need to stand up to the constant tugging and pulling from the elements. It has a center, extra heavy duty, reinforcement for those folks that might want to use the tarp as in the diamond set up. This tarp is the same as our other tarps, its heavy duty reinforcement loop has just been sewn on in the opposite direction of the seam instead of with the seam. As a result we have discounted it as a second. For those who will be backpacking with their tarp, weight is 3.5 pounds.
