They are the passionate winegrowers huddled between 2 rivers, Garonne and Dordogne. The name of Entre-Deux-Mers, comes from the influence of the ocean which materializes by a wave : " the Mascaret". Today the winery is run by Basaline Despagne and her winemaker brother, Thibault. It consists of 6 estates, around 300 hectares. "Biface" is a paleolithic ax tool found in the middle of our vineyards, signing the wine's mineral finish. Appellation: AOC Vin de France Country of Origin: Bordeaux, France Type: White/Blanc (Still) Grape Varieties: 50% Sauvignon Blanc, 50% Sémillon ABV: 12.5% Terrior: Village of Naujan and Postiac. Clay on limestone quarry. Vinification: Exclusive use of the finest juice, no press to avoid any heavy components, temperature controlled fermentation, in stainless-steel vats, ageing on fine lees until bottling. Tasting notes: Shiny crystal-clear colour with green reflexes, the nose expresses aromas of exotic fruits, with notes of grapefruit. The straight fresh mouth expresses citrus fruit and blackcurrant bud covered by a digestive mineral and slightly salty finish. Food Pairing: Caesar salad, fried mussels, white asparagus and roasted chicken.
