Vintage Cluster Japanese Saltwater Akoya Cultured Pearl Solitaire Pierced Earrings-Sterling Silver

This is a lovely pair of vintage Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearl cluster pierced earrings. The pearls measure 5.25-5.50mm and have good luster and rosy pink overtones. They have an swirl design. Appears the screwback portion was removed in order to convert these into pierced earrings. They are stamped "925" for sterling silver on the butterfly backs. Earrings are unstamped. All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
