About the Crokinole Board in this Bundle This board is a step up from the Gold Standard in that it has a taller 1/2 inch playing surface so the pucks drop well. It also has latex covered brass screws for the bumpers in the middle. The bumpers provide a dynamic bounce effect for the pucks when they strike them. This board has strong craftsmanship with lots of nails holding it together. It is crafted in a small garage in Milverton, Ontario by a lone craftsman. As a result, stock levels will be limited. Please note also that the board has a homemade feel - the back may have some wood blemishes. Overall the dimensions and play quality of this board make it an excellent choice for a good family style crokinole board.
