LIMITED RELEASE PORT ROYAL WHISKY 55.2% ABV This is the Waubs Harbour take on a cigar malt - traditionally a bold & robust fortified cask whisky that pairs well with a cigar. Port Royal is certainly that. Matured firstly in ex-Apera Sherry casks, finished in incredibly rare 70yr old rich Tawny Port casks from Liebichwein winery in the Barossa Valley. Some of the oldest casks we’ve used to date. We’re getting beautiful sweet fruits, butter & cream from the Apera casks and big, rich sultana, musk & nutmeg from the very old Tawny port casks. All brought together with an underlying maritime character from the oceanside maturation that’s unique to Waubs Harbour. A big, decadent maritime whisky that just lingers long into the finish. Only 653 bottles at 55.2% ABV.
