This mold is 1" deep but you don't have to fill it all the way, we recommend a minimum pour of 1/2" to ensure stability and rigidity. Once you demold this from the mold the recessed/engraved Texas seal will be apparent, we highly recommend backfilling with epoxy resin or paint to fill in the recessed details. This creates an obvious contrasting eye popping piece.
