It is a renowned high mountain tea of Taiwan. Characteristics of Shanlinxi High Mountain Oolong Tea Geographic Environment: Located in Zhushan Town, Nantou County, near Xitou. The high altitude (1100-1900m) and significant temperature difference between day and night cause the tea leaves to grow slowly, resulting in rich pectin content. Aroma and Taste: Cold forest mountain charm, fresh cedar breath, and elegant orchid fragrance. The tea liquor is golden and translucent, with a mellow and sweet taste and a deep, lasting throat resonance (Hou Yun). Craftsmanship Features: Mostly light fermentation and light roasting (approximately 15-20%), preserving the clear fragrance of high mountain tea; some also possess a special light charcoal-roasted flavor. Famous Production Areas: Includes the core Shanlinxi area, Longfeng Gorge, Sanchengping, etc.
