Are the flavours natural? Yes! We use premium plant based flavours that are created using only natural processing methods such as heating, fermenting and pressing. There is nothing artificial in Berry Immune. Is Berry Immune gluten free? Yes! The recipe does not contain any gluten containing ingredients and we make sure that Berry Immune is manufactured and packed in a gluten free environment. I am a grown up, can I have some? However anyone older than 1 year of age can take this product, including adults. As an adult your body needs a higher amount of nutrients, but that doesn’t mean you can’t take this product. Refractance window drying is the name of the drying method of choice for all of Nutra Organics fruit and veggie powders, the reason we use it is simply because it’s the best. Refractance window drying is the most effective drying method for nutrient retention which is super important when we’re talking about water soluble vitamins and antioxidants (hello Berry Immune!). We want as much of these volatile nutrients in our product as possible, other drying methods such as spray drying/drum drying involve high heat which destroy these precious nutrients in seconds. It also goes without saying that if this method is the best for nutrient retention, it’s also the clear winner for savouring the colour, flavour and aroma of our fruit powders which is why Berry Immune tastes as good as it looks. Can children under one consume berry immune? Unfortunately Berry Immune is not suitable for children under the age of one as it is not designed to be a sole source of nutrition and doesn’t fit the very specific criteria for foods suitable for infants.
