The numbers/letters in the address will be scaled proportionally to fit the size of sign, based on the number of digits in the address. The smaller the size of the sign or more numbers/letters in the address, the smaller the size of the numbers/letters will be. Please message us for questions regarding exact number sizes. MATERIAL: Our products are made using premium grade all-weather PVC board. The PVC board we source for our products is unique in that it is not foam-filled (like most others use), but is a solid compressed PVC board, resulting in a sturdier, more resilient finished product. PVC is 100% weatherproof and intended for outdoor use, in both tropical and cold climates (even in the harshest conditions, like Florida sunshine, rain showers & salt air!). Our products can be hung in direct sun & weather exposure, and will not yellow, mildew, crack or rust, and is impenetrable to moisture and insects. We design and cut each sign to order, to ensure precision and accuracy. Additionally, we take the time to sand every sign by hand after it is cut, for a smooth finish product. We do all the prep work for you, so it's ready to either hang or paint. COLOR: Your sign will arrive white, as the color of PVC is white. PVC is UV resistant, so your address sign will not yellow over time. It will arrive ready to hang as-is, and does not require painting or sealing, since it is a weatherproof material. If you would like to paint your sign, we recommend using an exterior acrylic based paint. PVC is a very easy material to paint yourself, and takes paint well. There is no need to prime or seal the paint. **Please note that we do not recommend painting PVC dark colors if installed in areas that get direct sunlight. Dark pigments in the paint absorb significantly more heat from the sun than lighter colors, transferring this intense heat to the PVC material underneath. While PVC naturally expands and contracts with temperature changes, the excessive, uneven heat from dark paint can cause it to expand too much to return to its original dimensions when it cools, leading to warping. We recommend using a high quality exterior acrylic latex paint with a light reflective value (LRV) of 55 or higher. There are also specialized vinyl safe paints specifically made for dark colors. We recommend speaking to a paint specialist regarding vinyl safe paint for dark colors.** PILOT HOLES: Please select from the drop down menu if you would like for us to add 4 small pre-drilled pilot holes into the sign for you (one in each corner). These holes are intended as placement holes for you to drill screws all of the way through the sign and into the structure. Selecting "No holes" is best if you would like to drill your own holes in the placement of your choice, or if you are using siding clips or an alternative way of hanging. HANGING: Hanging hardware is not included. We recommend using # 6 or # 8 stainless steel screws to fully secure the sign onto the structure. For wood structures, you can screw directly into the structure. For concrete & brick, we recommend using plastic anchors as well. To conceal the screws, we recommend adding white screw caps over the screw head. DO NOT hang a PVC sign between a front door and glass storm door.
