Quartz Intaglio Monk Carving

An intaglio quartz carving featuring a monk under a full moon, next to a tree, on a “hill” which is a tuft of iron inclusions. Hand-carved in China into the back of a polished teardrop-shaped piece of lodolite (iron-included quartz). Approx: 1 7/8″ H x 1 1/4″ W x 3/4″ D ; 1.2 oz
