The ingredients we have chosen are 10 of our most commonly used spices, meaning that this is a great starter kit for anyone wanting to cook Indian food. Inside this tin are seven smaller pots containing whole and powdered spices. On top of this sits a cover tray holding 3 types of whole spices. This is then sealed with a tight-fitting lid to keep your spices fresh and away from the light. You also get a Recipe Booklet which includes 20 Indian recipes. 10 of the recipes use a combination of the spices in the Spice Dabba and the Hand-Blended Masalas, which can be purchased individually or as a set in the Hand-Blended Masala Dabba. Includes: Coriander/Cumin Powder (30g): An essential spice for Indian cooking that helps create a rounded base flavour for dishes. Asafoetida (50g): Also known as hing powder, this spice gives a comforting onion-garlic flavour that complements a wide variety of Indian dishes. Green Cardamom (30g): Fragrant, sweet and floral - great for curries and even desserts! MUSTARD Seeds (50g): Pungent, peppery and a little bit hot - MUSTARD Seeds are a staple spice to have in your kitchen cupboard. Cumin Seeds (40g): Earthy spices like Cumin Seeds, bring a depth of flavour to dishes. Turmeric (50g): A powder with earthy, bitter and savoury flavours. Curry Leaves (4g): You can't have curry without some curry leaves! Add these to your curries for some savoury, earthy and citrus flavours.
