space cadet hat pattern
The Space Cadet Hat Pattern. My newest interpretation of a classic Cadet Hat. An easily customizable project, and the perfect way to use up those small fabric pieces that aren’t enough to make clothing. This is a quick, yet satisfying sew that I’m confident anyone can complete. I go over every single step, from paper to finished product on my YouTube channel. I’ve been wearing these hats all the time, and I can guarantee you will enjoy the finished product. MATERIALS NECESSARY: About ½ yard or ½ meter of fabric(you won’t likely even use the full half yard). An old pair of pants can make at least a few hats, and I also used scraps multiple times to make one(it uses very little fabric compared to clothing). OPTIONAL: A plastic brim insert. you can choose to purchase the brim inserts I bought, steal it from another hat, or even use cardboard or add extra layers of fabric for structure. SIZING: This pattern fits a head circumference of 20in(50.8cm) to 26in(66cm). FORMAT: This is a digital download — instantly available after purchase. The pattern comes formatted for easy printing on: US Letter (8.5 × 11 in) A4 A0 Arch E (36 × 48 in) Always print at 100% scale for accurate sizing.
