Margherita Otto Langhe Nebbiolo 2023

An extremely novel estate with just 11 vintages produced, although the winemaker has had the enviable experience of working alongside some of Barolo's knockout producers such as Cavallotto, Sandrone, and Mascarello. Originally from New York, Alan Manley has truly assimilated with the Piedmontese. Alan recently acquired some parcels of land with younger vines that he has dedicated to producing this Value Langhe. In addition to the fruit from Vignane, he is also adding declassified Barolo fruit, from his plots in Castiglione, and Serralunga. The wine has an enchanting nose of fragrant red cherries, roses, and violets. Pairs wonderfully with pizza, mushroom ragu, and interestingly, tacos.
