Refresh your palate this spring with herbal beverages! They taste delicious and are good for you. Skip the powdered drinks or sugary canned drinks, learn how to make healthy drinks instead! Drinks are a great way to incorporate fresh herbs into your daily routine. They bring vitality, energy and glowing skin. As the plants grow abundantly around us, it's helpful to know how we can harness their healing abilities. We will explore the benefits of different springtime herbs, how to harvest them, and how to turn them into a delicious beverage. This class will provide recipes for juices, lemonades, and smoothies. Together, we will recreate some of these recipes in class to sample! About the instructor Rachel Bull is a Certified Clinical Herbalist & Flower Essence Practitioner The plants are my greatest educators, however, I received my formal herbal education from the Colorado School of Clinical Herbalism where I became a Certified Clinical Herbalist and Flower Essence Practitioner. I also hold a certificate in the fundamentals of medical herbalism and advanced herbalism. In addition to working with clients one on one, I am an herbalist at the Little Herbal Apothecary in downtown Lafayette and sell tea blends and herbal salts for Salt & Bread Co in Longmont.
