The Simplex Chair is distilled to a few essential elements: a continuous tubular frame that begins at the backrest and flows seamlessly into the front legs, a round wooden seat, and a precisely engineered system of connections that allows such a minimal structure to exist. Its continuous backrest evokes the familiar silhouette of classic café chairs, such as the iconic Thonet, while the circular seat pays homage to Enzo Mari’s Tonietta. Elegant, lightweight and versatile, Simplex is available in three colours and can be specified either with or without a backrest.
