80Spec – 80° Specular Reflection Accessory

The 80Spec Specular Reflection Accessory (Flat Sampling Surface) is designed for straightforward, high-throughput analysis of thin films and mono-molecular layers using specular reflection at a fixed 80-degree angle. Ideal for large and uniform samples, it features a flat sampling port (2 3/8” x 3/4”) and gold-coated reflective optics that deliver excellent performance in grazing angle measurements. Integrated polarizer mounts on both incoming and outgoing beams allow for enhanced thin film characterization using optional IR polarizers. The package includes a gold substrate alignment mirror, dual polarizer mount, and FTIR base mount for reliable, stable operation and consistent, high-quality spectra.
