Bastion de Camerac is in the Entre-Deux-Mers, overlooking the Dropt valley, there has been a family-owned property on this site in Le Puy since 1616. The Regaud family acquired the farm in 1929, since when three generations have nurtured and developed the vines. Michaël Regaud took over the reins from his father Jean-Pierre in 1996, after studying at Bordeaux Wine University in Saint-Emilion and working at Château Potelle, in the Napa Valley. Michaël’s daughter Marie is already preparing to take charge of the 90 hectares of sustainably farmed vineyards and continue the modern ‘less is more’ winemaking ethos. The family is committed to the preservation of biodiversity with sustainable agriculture and agroecological infrastructures. The Cuvee Tradition is 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc.
