A wonderful poster from author Norman Mailer's unconventional (and unsuccessful) campaign to become New York City's mayor. Finishing second to last in the primaries, his platform consisted of a push for New York City to become the 51st State, a ban on private cars on the island of Manhattan and even a monthly "Sweet Sunday" which would halt every form of mechanical transportation—even elevators—to minimize pollution and provide a carefree environment so that New Yorkers would be allowed rest and talk to eachother while they air could purify itself. Although over 50 years old, the poster is in great shape, with minimal wear and an overall grade of B. Approximate Measurements: 24" x 36.5 Frame not included.
