26. Oriental Bay, Wellington, showing the rail track that was constructed from the Oriental Bay quarry to the Te Aro reclamation by the contractor Peter McGrath. The rail track ran out into Te Aro Harbour over a trestle railway. Peter McGrath undertook to reclaim 23 acres in 1882 and went bankrupt in 1884. 1883.
