Our farm partners raise these 100% all natural birds to forage freely in nature. They find plenty of food on the farm, and also supplement their diet with all-vegetarian feed to maintain consistent quality as they grow. Fossil Farms’ Guinea Hens work perfectly for oven roasting. Our farm partners follow the “Never Ever Program,” where they never use antibiotics, hormones, or steroids. These free-roaming birds also deliver a high yield compared to other game birds. They produce a better yield because they have fewer tendons in the leg and thigh area. Guinea Hens offer a slightly stronger flavor than chicken while still staying remarkably tender.
