Carboline Additive 101 - for Carbothane 133, 134 low temp curing

Carboline Additive 101 is a high-performance accelerator specifically formulated to speed the cure of many solvent-based polyurethane coatings. Designed for use with Carboline's Carbothane Series finishes, including the 133 and 134 Series products and Clear Coats, Additive 101 shortens dry film formation time across a wide range of application temperatures. With the use of Additive 101, select Carboline 133 & 134 Series polyurethanes will continue to cure at temperatures as low as 20°F (-7°C), making it an ideal solution for cold-weather projects and tight production schedules. DO NOT USE with water-borne polyurethanes or "8000 Series" polyurethanes. This accelerator is engineered to maintain coating quality while reducing dry times by 25-40%, depending on ambient conditions and substrate temperature. Use at a rate of 1.0-2.0 oz per mixed gallon unless otherwise designated on the specific Carbothane 133 or 134 Series polyurethane product data sheet. Note that Additive 101 will shorten the pot life of mixed material by approximately 40-50% of that stated on the respective Carbothane product data sheet. Always consult the relevant Product Data Sheet for precise mixing ratios and compatibility to ensure optimal results.
