“Vigna del Lago” Brunello di Montalcino 2020 is a refined, terroir-driven expression of Sangiovese from the cooler northeastern side of Montalcino. It shows a more elegant and lifted style of Brunello, with bright red cherry, pomegranate, violet, and citrus peel aromatics, layered with hints of mint, spice, and earthy florals. The palate is medium-bodied and finely structured, marked by silky tannins, vibrant acidity, and a long, savory finish with a subtle mineral edge. Polished yet expressive, the 2020 vintage combines purity and finesse with classic Brunello structure, offering both immediate charm with decanting and excellent aging potential over the next decade or more. Medium-bodied, it's very elegant and graceful, with ultra-fine tannins, even acidity, and a clean, silky finish.
