Curious Cow • 12 x 12

This week’s painting features a curious little calf out in the pasture. I wanted to capture that sweet, inquisitive look they get when they’re checking something out across the field. I used thick, bold brushstrokes and sweeping clouds to keep the energy high, focusing on how the light hits the calf's face. It was fun balancing those warm tones against the cool blues of the sky.
