Hand-formed by Althea Llewellyn of Althea Ceramics, this piece deliberately strips away traditional sentimentality to focus on raw texture and organic weight. This was originally part of the 2024 show "The Garden" at the Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art by Althea Llewellyn, and has since become her favorite piece. Althea continues to make slug flowers often now, but this one will always be her favorite.
