This collector-grade LPS coral features oversized, fleshy polyps with glowing neon-lime centers, surrounded by a striking, "lightning-streaked" deep purple and royal blue rim. Unlike standard Acans, the Bowerbanki grows in a dense, massive structure, making it a bold architectural piece for your lower rockwork. Type: LPS (Large Polyp Stony) Appearance: High-Contrast Neon Green & Electric Purple Growth Form: Massive/Platy Care Requirements Acanthastrea bowerbanki is relatively hardy, but it prefers "fat and happy" conditions with plenty of nutrients. 💡 Lighting (Low to Moderate) PAR: 75–150. Bowerbankis do best in the lower half of the aquarium. Too much light can cause the colors to wash out or the tissue to shrink. Under heavy blue/actinic lighting, the "Lightning" streaks and neon centers will truly pop. 🌊 Water Flow (Low to Medium) Provide gentle, indirect flow. You want to see the fleshy polyps swaying slightly. Avoid high, direct flow, as this can cause the skeleton to tear through the coral's thick tissue. 🍽️ Feeding (Highly Recommended) These are hungry corals!
