Grape Variety: Lambrusco di Sorbara, Salamino, Grasparossa Producer: Angol d'Amig (Marco Lanzotti) Region: Modena, Emila-Romagna, Italy Wild Scale: 3/5 Vegan friendly wine Winemaking: Organic Lambrusco grapes were hand harvested and crushed before 1 week of maceration. Fermented with indigenous yeast in concrete tanks. Grape must was used to kick start a second fermentation and the wine was then bottled. No fining, filtration or added sulphur. This Wine: Red sparkling wine with deep and dark fruit flavours alongside earthy and mineral notes. More precise and balanced than in previous vintages, Scaramusc is growing up! Best served with cheese. Notes on the Winemaker: Angol d'Amig means "Friends Corner" in the local dialect of Marco Lanzotti who makes natural wine just outside Modena in Emila-Romagna. He aims to make wines that reflect the beautiful land around him.
