Supernova ZZ Plant: Zamioculcas zamiifolia - 8 inch pot

Also called the Zanzibar Gem or Zulu Plant, ZZ Plants are a highly resilient plant with origins in the arid climates of Eastern and Southern Africa. ZZ plants grow glossy leaves that sprout in a neat and regular pattern, and the 'Supernova' variety's foliage starts as a fresh lime green and matures into an intense, dark-purplish hue (although not as dark as the 'Raven' variety). Because of their adaptability, ZZ plants are especially suitable for those with minimal plant care experience or time. Largely self-maintaining, these plants are drought-resistant and tolerate low-lighting well, although bright indirect sunlight will promote the most growth. With a name meaning prosperity or friendship, ZZ plants can also be propagated from a single leaf - making them ideal for sharing.
