Blue Sage Plant

Latin name - Salvia farinacea Also known as Mealy Blue Sage, this tropical perennial produces a prolific amount of stunning purple blue flowers via a vertical spike. The blooms are sure to attract hummingbirds and all the pollinators to your food forest. The leaves of this plant have been used by Native Americans for healing remedies and to make a refreshing tea. Plant in full to partial sun, this plant can tolerate dry conditions as well as moderate amounts of water. Expect this plant to grow 2-3ft tall and grows outward as wide as it is tall.
