Caroline Elliot Etched Horse Bowl

Award-winning artist Caroline Elliot of Santa Clara Pueblo has created this highly collectible, traditionally outdoor-fired etched horse bowl. After firing, the beautiful sienna background is utilized to create a sgraffito designs, which is done by scratching through a surface to reveal a lower layer of a contrasting color accentuating the unique horse designs. The Horse represents partnership and strength and is thought to have innate healing powers. A perfect gift for a horse lovers, or collectors of Native American art.
