TUBULAR SHORTSLEEVE T-SHIRT

This T-Shirt is made on a rare vintage loop knitting machine which was brought to Japan in the early 1900s. Its use has been dwindling since the 1960s due to its limited production capacity. This machine takes up to 3–4 days to produce a single roll of fabric and can therefore not be used for large scale productions. The luxurious softness of the tubular knitted fabric is unique and cannot be reproduced elsewhere. CHRISTEN values this incredible heritage and is proud to collaborate with this exclusive factory in Wakayama, Japan and to sustain this vintage technology for its first non-seasonal product.
