The SSD Full Wood Chair represents Tiptoe's first venture into 100% wooden furniture design. Building on the success of the original SSD chair from 2019, this new edition maintains the ergonomic excellence and timeless appeal of its predecessors while introducing an entirely fresh structure and assembly method. The name SSD—standing for Simple, Solid, and Durable—perfectly encapsulates the philosophy behind this thoughtfully crafted piece. Crafted from FSC-certified oak sourced from sustainably managed European forests, the SSD Full Wood Chair combines solid oak legs with a moulded oak veneer seat and backrest. The sculptural design features a distinctive character that brings warmth and visual interest to any interior. Its vibrant Poppy Red finish adds a lively accent to contemporary and traditional spaces alike, while the chair's ingenious shape allows up to four units to stack compactly, making it ideal for flexible living arrangements. Designed with longevity in mind, this chair arrives flat-packed and disassembles into just five easily replaceable components, extending its lifespan and reducing environmental impact during transport. Assembly is straightforward and requires no special tools. The seat height measures 46 cm with a circular seat diameter of 40 cm, and the chair stands 80 cm tall while weighing only 4.5 kg. Maintenance is simple—just wipe with a damp cloth and soft sponge, avoiding alcohol or acetone-based products.
