Chateau Barouillet Toutan Kharbo 2025

Château Barouillet is an eighth-generation family estate in Bergerac, led by Vincent Alexis, who has transitioned the vineyards to organic and biodynamic farming with a strong focus on low-intervention winemaking. Working with a diverse mix of traditional Southwest varieties, the wines are made with native fermentations, no fining or filtration, and little to no added sulphur—aiming for purity, drinkability, and honest expression of fruit and place, Toutankharbo 2025 is an atypical and expressive vintage made from Malbec, Merlot, Sauvignon Rose and Sémillon grown on clay-limestone soil, carbonic maceration and very short aging in vats.
