The USGI MSS (Modular Sleep System) produced some amazing kit. The Intermediate Sleeping Bag is no exception. If you're looking to camp in the cold, this bag is a great place to start. This bag is rated for -10 degrees Fahrenheit and is comfortable in temperatures up to 30 degrees. With other parts of the MSS thrown in, you can bring that down to -50 degrees. These bags were produced in the United States by Tennier Industries. They feature a water-resistant, non-flammable ripstop nylon exterior and Polarguard® HV hollow continuous filament resin bonded polyester lining. The ISB features a heavy duty, double zipper down the length of the bag. It also includes a cinch-able "hood" to help trap heat. You can attach it to other MSS components via the snaps.
