Phthalo Green is a deep, cool green with bluish undertones. It lies between forest green and deep teal. It responds to colors nearby rather than drowning them out. Normally, phthalo green is transparent and has intense tinting strength. When applied directly from the tube, it can look unnatural. It is quite dominant. However, in a heavy texture, its high viscosity and the addition of Hansa Yellow tone it down. Making it ready made for more realistic green mixes. Formulated with Phthalo Green BS (PG7) and Hansa Yellow 10G. Normally, Phthalo Green is a transparent pigment that can dry almost black when it's very thick. The Hansa Yellow added to it helps keep the color a midtone, while remaining a cool blue green. Dries to a glossy finish with full opacity and a cool color temperature. Professional grade, 100% acrylic emulsion, water-based formula. Conforms to ASTM D 4236. Excellent lightfastness, crack-resistant, and flexible upon curing.
