The Guru Logo. An art student friend designed this logo, which was based on a terracotta mask of a harvest god, which we sold in our shop. She was called Karen Shaw back then, but I think she may be married now. Karen lodged with my husband, Ray, and me when Mam and I opened our first little unit in Court Arcade. Karen also designed us a very cool image to use on our paper bags, and because we liked it so much, we kept that same image on our paper bags when we moved to Blackwellgate.
