Balvenie Tun 1401 Batch #5 Single Malt Scotch

The Tun series was conceived by Malt Master David Stewart, who was so inspired by the magical atmosphere inside Warehouse 24, that he wanted to capture the essence of it in a bottle. This was achieved by marrying selected casks from the warehouse in a large wooden vat (or "Tun"), for a period of three months, and each batch has its own unique characteristics depending on the cask selection used. Batch #5 is a vatting of five American Hogsheads and four Sherry Butts, the oldest of which is a 1966 vintage distillation.
