Shadowbox Workshop + 12 x 12 Frame

What if your memories didn’t live hidden away in a box—tucked in a closet, basement, or under the bed—but instead were transformed into something you could see, feel, and truly enjoy? That’s exactly why my dear friend, fellow workshop trainer, and artist Christie and I are so excited to host a Shadow Box Making Workshop this August—right in my backyard. There’s something powerful about making the time, committing to yourself, and creating alongside others. It’s what turns good intentions into something real—something you’ll actually complete and cherish. Come make something meaningful with us We’ll provide enhancing art supplies, glue guns, and no shortage of ideas to help you create a shadow box that showcases your memories. This workshop isn’t limited to one kind of story. Your shadow box might honor: a treasured furry family member a human family member or you—a snapshot of your own life Think: old passports, Girl Scout badges, work IDs, travel mementos, dog tags, military memorabilia, photos, . The possibilities are endless. Not artsy or craftsy? No worries—at all. We’ll be alongside you the entire time. All you need to bring is the box of memories. When: August 1st, 2026 Time: 10 AM – 3 PM Location: The Poulton Pergola in West Akron, OH Cost: $120 plus $10 for 8x8 shadowbox and $20 for 12 x 12 shadowbox. Coffee, snacks and a healthy lunch is included.
