Sound opens portals into visionary states, expanding consciousness and evoking new realms of possibility. ‘Journey Within’ began as a live painting in 2012 and was continued in 2024 during another live session during Goldcap’s live annual birthday set in Los Angeles. This is Amanda Sage & Berge Sahakian’s first collaborative print release. Amanda Sage and Berge Sahakian aka Goldcap were originally introduced in 2016 at Burning Man by Lucian Tarnowski as his favorite sonic and visual artists, through a curated collaborative experimental live performance. The results were creatively evocative for both artists, to weave mediums of live visual and sound creation, and they have continued to collaborate annually at Burning Man and other select venues.
