Historically, this compacted form was essential for transport along the ancient Tea-Horse Road, a rugged mountainous crossing to Tibet and beyond. Ingredients: Pu'erh Tea Leaves (7 Individually Wrapped Aged Tea Cakes) Gongfu Style Brewing: Place 1 token of pu’erh in a small tea pot. Add boiling water (203–212 °F).
