Inspired by the headboard and bedcover of the iconic Mary of Modena bed at Kensington Palace, this cushion adds a dramatic, regal look steeped in 17th-century history and heritage. Printed onto a 100% cotton base in warm ochre yellow and finished with a durable tassel edge. Inspiration The principal outer hangings of the bed — including curtains, valances and upholstery — were made from polychrome velvet, probably manufactured in Italy around 1680–90.
