Brewing Workshop | Teaware & Techniques

Explore the foundations of tea brewing in this hands-on workshop designed to help you build your own personal tea practice. You’ll learn a range of techniques - including cold brewing, practicing Gongfu brewing in a gaiwan and clay pot, plus grandpa-style brewing. We will also explore how variables like water temperature, leaf-to-water ratio, and brewing vessels shape the flavor, aroma, and texture of your tea. Along the way, you’ll taste three distinct Taiwanese teas and enjoy a selection of sweet treats paired to complement the experience. As we share our secrets on brewing techniques, you’ll be encouraged to explore, experiment, and discover your own brewing preferences. Whether you’re new to tea or looking to deepen your tea making knowledge, this workshop offers a thoughtful space to develop your own brewing style.
