A group of original documentation of a German Army Infantry Officer. The lot awarded and named to Unteroffizier Bernhard Bruns of 39th Infantry Regiment. Consisting of early pre-war award and service documents. SA Sports Badge in Bronze award card issued 1935. NSKK Ausweiss from 1936 where Bruns was a musician in Motor Standard 66 Munster. His DAF Dienstbuch (service book) dated 1937. Various other documents for achievement. 1941 dated award document for the Iron Cross 1st Class. Awarded for courage on the Eastern Front in November 1941, when the 39th I.R. was advancing towards Moscow. Signed by Commander Major General Walter Weiß. A Iron Cross and Eastern Front Medal ribbon bar. Along with some photos and negatives of the officer in uniform with awards, the Iron Cross and the ribbon bar can be seen in wear. A superb Eastern Front award group, dated to late 1941 where the regiment and division were advancing on Moscow.
