Continue to Tsinandali Estate, once home to Georgian nobility, where history, culture, and fine wine come together. In the 19th century, Prince Alexander Chavchavadze transformed this estate into the birthplace of modern Georgian winemaking, introducing European techniques while preserving the country’s ancient qvevri tradition. Tsinandali was also the first place in Georgia where wine was bottled and labeled, marking a turning point in the country’s wine industry. DAY 4 Breakfast at the hotel Start your day with a visit to Mtskheta, one of Georgia’s oldest cities and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you will explore the beautiful Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. Continue your journey along the scenic Georgian Military Highway, stopping at the picturesque Ananuri Fortress, overlooking the turquoise Zhinvali Reservoir. Drive further towards the mountains to reach Kazbegi, where you will enjoy breathtaking views of the Caucasus Mountains and visit the iconic Gergeti Trinity Church. After Kazbegi visit return in Gudauri. This day offers a perfect combination of cultural heritage and stunning natural beauty. Overnight in Gudauri. DAY 5 Breakfast at the hotel. Descend from the mountains and travel into Georgia’s ancient past. Explore Uplistsikhe, a fascinating rock-hewn town dating back to the early Iron Age, where caves, tunnels, and ancient halls tell stories of early civilizations. Continue to Gori, the birthplace of Joseph Stalin, visist Stalin Museum, after head to west part of Georgia, the old Capital city -Kutaisi, which is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in Europe. According to ancient Greek mythology, Kutaisi was part of the legendary kingdom of Colchis—the destination of Jason and the Argonauts in their quest for the Golden Fleece. Ruled by King Aeetes, the land guarded this powerful symbol of wealth and authority. With the help of Medea, Jason succeeded in taking the fleece and escaping Colchis—linking Kutaisi forever to one of the world’s most famous legends. Overnight in Kutasi. DAY 6 Breakfast at the hotel. Start your journey to Kutaisi, the historic capital of the Imereti region, known for its lively streets and cultural landmarks and city tour in Kutaisi visiting the UNESCO-listed Bagrati Cathedral and the beautiful Gelati Monastery. (In case Gelati will be open for visitors). Next drive to Tskaltupo to visit the spectacular Prometheus Cave, one of Georgia’s natural wonders, where impressive stalactites, stalagmites, and underground rivers create a magical world beneath the earth. At the end of the tour enjoy the boat ride inside the cave adds a unique touch to the experience. Overnight in Kutaisi. DAY 7 Breakfast at the hotel. Travel back to Tbilisi, enjoying scenic landscapes along the way.
