Plant onion 'Snowball' (choose weight)

The Snowball onion is a high-yielding and very uniform variety, with a rounder shape than most common onions. It is a strong growing onion, suitable for cultivation under glass and in the open ground, with good skin firmness, which means it can be stored for a long time. Snowball has a good tolerance to bolting and can also be harvested as a spring onion in winter and spring. Its mild, sweet flavour makes it perfect for cold preparations. A 500 gram bag contains approximately 175 onions of 14-21 mm in size. Planting period : From September to October Planting distance : Plant them in rows 30 cm apart and 10 cm between the plants. Planting depth : Plant the onion so that the top is just above in sandy soil and plant them slightly higher in clay soil (with the top and 0.5 cm of the onion above).
