Description The CryoGrip Pro Glacier is a double-sided, 7-layer composite spring steel build plate that utilizes BIQU's advanced CryoGrip porous polymer technology. Unlike traditional PEI sheets that require high bed temperatures to maintain adhesion, the Glacier plate delivers superior grip at significantly reduced bed temperatures—saving energy and preventing heat-creep issues (like filament softening inside the extruder). While its sibling, the Frostbite, is restricted to PLA and PETG, the Glacier is the versatile all-rounder. It features a fine, smooth-textured finish and handles standard filaments at cool temperatures, while easily adapting to high-temp engineering filaments up to 300°C. Features Low-Energy Printing: Greatly reduces the required bed temperature for everyday filaments, cutting down on printer power consumption. Engineering Filament Support: Fully compatible with technical materials like ABS, PA-CF, ABS-CF, TPU, and PVA at manufacturer-recommended temperatures. Heat-Isolating Honeycomb Handle: Even when running the heated bed up to 100°C, the extended front grip remains cool to the touch for immediate, safe plate removal. Flexible Model Release: Finished prints hold tightly when warm, but release effortlessly with a slight bend of the plate once cooled. Alcohol Safe: Unlike Frostbite (which is soap-and-water only), the Glacier coating can be easily cleaned with standard Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) or soapy water.
