We Ride At Dawn 2024

The wine is a cherry and strawberry bomb with black pepper spice, great length and balanced acidity. It's versatile and could be served as a vibrant chilled red or a juicy, food-friendly red with persistent savoury notes. Blend of 2/3 Dornfelder and 1/3 Rondo Grapes harvested from Avonleigh Organic Vineyard The Dornfelder grapes were hand-destemmed into an open fermenter where they spent 5 days on the skins before being pressed to barrel. The Rondo was direct pressed to a stainless-steel tank where it fermented and aged before being blended with the Dornfelder. Wild fermentation No fining or filtration Only 480 bottles made The idea was to blend depth & structure with freshness & fruit lift to create a juicy wine that has layers and length.
