Sweet Heart Cherry Tree
An adorable sweet cherry first developed in 1975 at the Pacific Agri-Food Research Centre in British Columbia, CA and released to the public a few years later in 1982. The Sweetheart cherry is classified as a Mahogany Red and is darker than the more common Bing. The cherries grow in clusters and tends to over produce is thinning or pruning steps are not taken to mitigate production. It is an excellent pollinator to other sweet cherries.
