It features a black, high-impact resin case that is 100% corrosion proof, along with a thick O-ring seal at the hinged bezel to access the internal quartz movement. Due to its watertight construction, the Bluewater can be interior (cabin) or exterior mounted, such as on an exposed bridge deck or hard dodger, etc. It is unaffected by seaspray, rain, drips, leaks, etc. The black on white dial is easy to read in low light conditions, plus it also has a contrasting red secondhand sweep hand for precise navigation, race countdowns, etc. The matching Bluewater Barometer (*optional) completes the set, featuring a fully adjustable, temperature controlled aneroid movement which enables the mariner to track incoming high/low pressure weather systems.
