It is a hardworking bread and stays presentable and in shape, with no chance of things getting soggy. I find our ciabatta to be the ideal canvas for all our sandwiches! I love eating it on its own too! These sandwiches are also wonderful for children's parties, when you want to keep the options easy. I've been there–trying to please 20+ screaming children with something simple but satiating.
